With over $85 billion in services being outsourced annually, the market is eager for a U.S. based option in the IT outsourcing sector. To offer services that are competitive in cost and quality, Ruralogic creates offices in rural areas with available labor pools having a world class work ethic. Ruralogic has partnered with Northwest State Community College to train unemployed and underemployed workers in northwest Ohio for an exciting new career in the software development field.
HOW TO GET STARTED The training and employment process begins with visiting Ruralogic, Inc.'s website, www.ruralogic.com, opening the Careers tab and clicking on the Ruralogic Employment Application form. Once the application is submitted and received by Ruralogic, Inc., further information will be sent regarding next steps, including testing, interviews, funding and other employment or education requirements.
FUNDING The Northwest Ohio Job Center is a partnership between Fulton, Defiance, Henry and Williams Counties. As a one-stop system they are committed to a workforce development system that is business driven and locally developed. Each branch handles administration of funding through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program. These funds are made available to qualified students desiring involvement in the Database Programming class at Northwest State Community College in Archbold, Ohio. All funding options, including WIA, are also available on the school's website.
COURSE WORK Northwest State has partnered with Ruralogic, Inc. to design a curriculum geared toward database programming. This sixteen week, structured course schedule covers a variety of technologies culminating in a Database Programming Certificate, as well as possible employment with Ruralogic, Inc.
